We are currently looking to add an experienced and skilled Technical Trainer to our passionate and dedicated team. You will be working from our Sacramento office, located in Rancho Cordova. The Technical Trainer organizes and conducts Biometrics applications training for customers and employees. Our Technical Trainers select materials and appropriate delivery methods for programs on NEC Fingerprint and Facial Recognition products. You will provide training at customer locations and at NEC facilities whilst providing technical support and subject matter expertice using web, email and phone.  You will Manage any updates to course materials, curriculums, and sample test data. Reviewing and testing software applications for compliance with customer functionality requirements, latent print analysis and examination within NEC will add to your essential responsibility. As an SME, this position plays a key role in liaising with customers and NEC staff regarding latent and tenprint problems and questions. 

Requires specialized depth of knowledge and experience in tenprint and latent print processing and comparison.  Works closely with project delivery team. Utilizes experience in biometric analysis to advise and work with product management teams.  .

Responsibilities-

  • Preparing test plans
  • Testing products prior to training
  • Providing onsite training
  • Internal and External Customer service
  • Attend industry events / conferences as required
  • Collaborate with Project Delivery Team
  • Remain current on National biometric standards and participate in federal working groups advising on biometric technology use

Requirements-

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering Technical Training within the software industry
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with high level of motivation and drive
  • Experience training large groups
  • Experience as a tenprint and/or latent examination - desirable
  • Experience with Biometrics products - desirable
