Job Description

NEC Financial Services LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation of America, is a captive leasing company based in Saddle Brook NJ.

We are seeking a Summer IT Intern attending graduate school or a 4-year college majoring in Information Technology or Computer Science. 

The intern will assist company staff with:

  • SQL writing and testing
  • Standardizing SQL queries in Pentaho, a unified data integration and analytics platform
  • General system administration - network, server, security and user maintenance, familiarity with VMWare
  • Assist with system workflow configuration
  • Work with operational staff to streamline and improve internal system processes
  • Testing backup and restore process and documenting policies around the same
  • Assist with the development of Web service integrations using .net or Java
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
