Summary -

Acts in a business consulting and liason role, working closely with cross functional groups including Senior Management, Sales & Business Unit (BU) management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Corporate Shared Services, and Legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information. Manages, plans, controls, and evaluates the activities of the BU including: SAP project & time keeping systems, SAP CRM, integration with ERP, financial reporting and forecasting systems. Ensures compliance to corporate policies and procedures. Coordinates orders, sales, procurement, business analysis and forecasting. Manages financial analysis and reporting, ad-hoc management reporting and executive projects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

30% Direct and manage overall BU activities.  Understands BU budget and resources in order to prioritize projects and manage resources to control costs. Develop BU forecasting and time tracking  tools, and coordinate integration of activities into ERP. Gather data from various sources, including ERP, and organize into logical information for reporting. Define and develop analytics and reports which clearly show the state of the business. Employ consultative approach working closely with cross functional groups to synchronize business objectives. Requires understanding of budgets, P&L and overall finance principles.

30% Manage and streamline the BU processes to maximize efficiencies. Identify operational improvements which would result in more efficient business. Develop new processes and implement corporate tools. Provide ongoing process management to facilitate changes in the business model. Document processes and best practices, and transfer the knowledge to BU peers and management. Coordinate activities between BU, Operations, IT and Finance.

20%  Act as a BU Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to coordinate and communicate project activities with all team members. Work collaboratively to resolve conflicts and resource issues to ensure project completion. Assist BU leader in identifying risks and opportunities, and communicate these to other functional groups. Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management and non-management, both internal and external. 

10% Direct and manage compliance related activities in the sales and delivery  processes. Work with Sales, Finance and Corporate Shared Services departments to ensure compliance with Department and Company policies and procedures. 

10% Work with Finance and Sales Management to provide project cost analysis, profitability analysis, trend information and pricing recommendations. Ensure all quoting and forecasting systems are up-to-date with most current pricing information. Coordinate pricing and costing process between Sales and Delivery organizations.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

6 or More Years in similar role

Language Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong team player

Mathematical Skills:

Reasoning Skills:

A successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels in the organization, as well as staff users.  Experience leading change.  Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills.  Knowledge of financial principles, P&L management and forecasting. Must be able to grow and maintain a positive culture that reflects the overall values of the organization.  Meeting management and group process facilitation skills are required.

Computer and/or Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel and math skills, working knowledge of SAP
