Summary: Sr. Account Manager - Analytics and Big Data

As a Sr. Account Manager for our Enterprice Technology Unit, you will be responsible for the relationship between NEC and its Customers as it relates to our Analytics and Big Data products and services.

You will manage all facets of the business relationship and marshalling the Company resources necessary to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction in the areas of Analytics and Big Data within New and Named Accounts. You will specifically be selling NEC Managed Analytics programs and products to the client base. Manage the new opportunity identification, proposal preparation, negotiation of closing new deals within the New and Named Accounts. You will be responsible for constantly seeking new customers and expanding the business relationship with existing customers.  Responsible for uncovering, qualifying, defining, proposing and closing new sales orders in line with the Company's business objectives and within profitability guidelines established by the Company.   You will achieve assigned sales quotas and support either named accounts or a sales territory. Provide resource and advisor supporting sales strategy, sales planning, forecasting and sales execution plans while create a sales portfilo and managing pipeline information.  On the request by sales, partners and/or customers, you will provide in-depth technical presentations on NEC Analytics & Big Data. Present and demonstrate technical benefits of NEC Technology & product and assist to close new sales.  Develop and deliver comprehensive product presentations at meetings. Provide direct customers with both pre-sales and after-go-live support. From a technical perspective, you will maintain relationship between key contacts  with customers.  You are also expected to serve as an industry expert on Analytics to educate decision makers and build rapport by keeping up with the latest trends.  This role requires demonstrated excellent sustomer Service, business communication, sales and relationship building skills as well as a strong understanding in analytics and big data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

70% Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine needs in the Analytics, Data Management and Big Data Space. Creates and performs sales presentations to match company's Analytics and Data Management products/services with identified needs such as Customer Experience. Sells products/services through face-to-face contact.  Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts. Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required. Responsible for achieving assigned sales quota. Responsible as an initiative lead supporting either named accounts or a sales territory

20% Provide after-go-live support to ensure stable operation by coordinating  internal support organization. Ensure complete satisfaction and potential future revenue.  Feed valuable recommendations (based on customer requirements) into product management teams for potential incorporation into product design. Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits. Alerts client to new or improved products/services. Develops and maintains relationships with clients. Relays client feedback to product development staff.

10% Take adequate trainings on new NEC products and get equipped with hands of experience is presenting and selling it in the client base, should be capable of bundling multiple products of NEC to sell it as a package to the customer to add more value to them.

Provide Feedback to Team and/or initiative lead supporting either named accounts or a sales territory. Play the lead as a Resource and advisor supporting sales strategy, sales planning, forecasting and sales execution plans. Interacts with SE/SA resources and corporate resources required to execute sales and account strategy and plans. Manage sales forecasting process and provide any reporting to sales management.

Prerequisites -

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred

Experience:

8-15 years of previous IT sales experience ( Enterprise & medium size businesses).  A proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals in a sales organization. Salesforce.com experience. Strong business acumen. Entrepreneurial drive and creative thinking.
