Job Description

The Technical Trainer organizes and conducts Biometrics applications training for customers and employees.  Selects materials and appropriate delivery methods for programs on NEC Fingerprint and Facial Recognition products.  Provides training at customer locations and at NEC facilities.  Provides technical support and subject matter expertice using web-based, emails and phone calls.  Manages and updates course materials, curriculums, and sample test data.  Reviews and tests software applications for compliance with customer functionality requirements, and latent print analysis and examination within NEC.   Plays a key role in liaising with customers and NEC staff regarding latent and tenprint problems and questions. 

Requires specialized depth of knowledge and experience in tenprint and latent print processing and comparison.  Works closely with project delivery team. Utilizes experience in biometric analysis to advise and work with product management teams.  Remains current on National biometric standards and participates in federal working groups advising on biometric technology use.

Essential Requirements-

  • Experience as a tenprint and/or latent examination
  • Experience training large groups
  • Exerience with Biometrics products
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with high level of motivation and drive
